In the early 1980's Bobby Carlson created a legendary New England based country music band called Silver Saddle, whose members were so respected that when the group broke up the players went on to other very successful projects.

20 years after Silver Saddle broke up Bobby found success in Nashville while signed to Lofton Creek Records.  His tune "Paper Plates & Dixie Cups," reached 47 on the Music Row Breakout Music Chart. on March 3, 2004. Another single "She's Got My Heart,"was favorably reviewed in a Cashbox Magazine critique of his self titled album (generating 4 out of 5 Stars) on August 06, 2010.
After a few years touring and living in Nashville Bobby came home to form the Stones River Band. They play at concert venues,' like Indian Ranch in Webster MA.  They Opened shows for Faith Hill, Lee Ann Womack, Aaron Tippin, Charlie Daniels, and Sammy Kershaw there and have been part of two major shows at The Marshfield MA Fair in the last few years: They performed with The Confederate Railroad and the following year returned as Buddy Jewell's actual concert band, with Bobby doing the harmony vocals and playing rhythm guitar. Bobby Carlson & Stones River then became Buddy Jewell's performance band when Buddy tours through the Northeast. They've matched-up at venues like,  Schaghticoke Fair (near Albany NewYork.) and performed together at Independance Park in Bristol RI as part of
the town's huge 4th of July festivities. $3,000.00 people showed up.  At the same venue Bobby and his guys also backed-up Warner Brothers artists Sixwire. All told they've played at the
park several times.

Bobby Carlson has always had the ability to understand what people want to hear, and entertain them at the same time. It's why he's always been a working musician and a solid entertainer. At Mishnock Barn in Rhode Island a legendary country dance venue he always performed to an"all age"crowd." that loved to party to both Bobby's cover songs and his original. "Paper Plates & Dixie Cups," which has been choreographed and made into a country dance there.

Stones River Band took the stage in Bristol RI as the opening act for Warner Bros recording artists, SIXWIRE. The huge crowd, must have loved the show, because BC & SR will have now played there four times if you include the 2019 show with Buddy Jewell.

Bobby Carlson & Stones River is Buddy Jewell's official band in the notheast, but they are available for limited shows as a featured act. Their sound is made up of carefully chosen comtemporary hits, a good mix of yesterday and a few originals. A wide variety of country music.
If you're not already familiar with BC&SR,
see the band once and you'll be a fan.

"PAPER PLATES & DIXIE CUPS."
